February, 2007 - On a trip to New Hampshire we saw this clever fox hunting, probably for mice. We were amazed that he could stay on top of the snow. Last week's storm left us with 3' of white powder on the ground!

 These turkeys were part of a group of 10 roosting in big pines near Moose Bog. Can you see 5 in the picture? They're there. They just don't look like they should be in trees! |
 And our first moose of the year, the picture obviously taken in the dark, again near Moose Bog. He ran right out of the woods in front of us. You can really see how long his legs are here as those are at least 3-4'+ snowbanks. Never slowed him down! |
